The Traffic Safety Education Center provides e-learning-based traffic safety education programs to establish traffic order and contribute to traffic safety in accordance with Article 120 of the Road Traffic Act.

School bus safety education for children
This curriculum improves traffic order by providing online education to employees of cars (children’s school buses) used to transport children to school, on the roles of each job, safety rules, and the safety of children getting on and off school buses. Designed to prevent traffic accidents in children.

Evaluation method: Progress rate 100% + test score of 60 or more

Elderly driver training

 

This course is mandatory training for driver’s license renewal (aptitude test) for drivers over 75 years of age.

It was designed to learn safe driving methods that take into account changes in physical and cognitive functions due to the natural aging process.

Educational Goals: Learn about changes in cognitive motor abilities of older drivers and learn safe driving methods according to aging.
Training target: Drivers over the age of 75 who are subject to regular driver’s license inspection (renewal)
Course registration period: Anytime
Course period: 30 days from the date of application
Completion standard progress rate 100%
Legal basis for elderly driver education
In accordance with Article 73 (5) of the Road Traffic Act (clause when clicked, bottom), a person aged 75 or older must receive traffic safety education for elderly drivers from the Road Traffic Authority in order to obtain a driver’s license for the first time or to renew a driver’s license.
